Sho Tsunoda

Paint & Illustration

Japanese artist, Sho Tsunoda's body of work, focusses on the importance of maintaining this identity and how the material richness of society can be a double-edged sword.

As a child Sho was fascinated with Orchids and joined the Osaka Orchid Society, at 12 he was the youngest member in history. His time there taught him that even in nature, manipulation can lead to new and beautiful forms. Sho's more contemporary work uses acrylic paints teamed with powdered pigments creating a tapestry-like effect weaving organic forms with geometric spaces and shapes.
