Some might consider being a lecturer in Biology and Forensic Science alongside a profession as an artist paradoxes but not Dr Miranda Trojanwska. We had a chat with Dr Trojanowska in which she touches on aspects of her life and works such as the importance of emotions when she paints, the parallels between her day job and art. Both she feels are key ways in understanding and expressing the world we inhabit.
Her work explores the genesis of tangible emotions, ranging from pain, catharsis, love and friendship. Diversifying these effective states. Morphing, solidifying, and ultimately making them permanent marks and forms on canvas.
