With expertise and knowledge spanning over 20 years, Emma Lawrenson knows a thing or two about prints. This full-time printmaker has a BA in Fine Art from the University or Reading and an MA in Printmaking from the Royal College of Art.
Each piece of Emma's work is a literally labour of love. With some works comprising of over 18 colours each colour has to printed manually, left to dry and then the process is repeated all over again. Some works are finished with pencil or conte crayon.
Her work reflects the rural landscape she is surrounded by. Initially documented as photographs, sketches or collages these are subject to Emma's creative process which result in the finished product. Her work has been featured in Vogue, House and Gardens and Country Living amongst others.
