We live in an age where mental health issues are an everyday aspect of modern life, yet rarely discussed. Progressive societies with all their advances tend to put us under a lot of pressure which manifests itself in the form of stress and depression.
Artist Jason Clarke channels these dark moments through his art and wants to break down the stigma attached to mental health, especially among men. Diagnosed with being Bipolar and suffering from Psychosis Jason found art therapy crucial to helping him deal with his illness. From drawing in hospital five years ago to his first solo exhibition Jason Clarke is changing our perception of mental health as we know it.
