Aside from being a professional BMX rider and extreme sports enthusiast 23-year-old conceptual artist Tavin Davis certainly doesn't like to limit himself to the title of an artist. Preferring to call himself a philosopher of sorts working with visual language. Challenging stereotypes, norms and perceptions he is influenced by artists such as Marcel Duchamp, Donald Judd and Martin Creed to name a few. His work focusses on the impact and control that large corporations have on us, both on a literal and subconscious level and the cultural appropriation of censorship. Tavin's work is refreshing and brimming with promise.
